Hike the trails of the forest and be back home in your cabin the same day without having to drive. Fish or go tubing in the South Toe River or play a round of golf at the Mt. Mitchell Country Club. Located ten minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 30 minutes to historic downtown Burnsville, one hour to Asheville or Boone.
We call the cabin "Serendipity", a fortunate discovery. Our family has been coming to Western North Carolina for years searching for the perfect family vacation spot. We believe we have found it in Serendipity.
It is the perfect combination, isolated but not too far from civilization. You could come, with a stop at the supermarket on the way in, and have enough to do without having to use your car. Serendipity also makes the perfect home base for day trips to all North Carolina and Tennessee has to offer.
